The sense of smell is the only one of the five senses that is directly connected to the limbic system of the brain. The limbic system is involved in the control of emotions, motivation, feelings and memory. Excitement, longing, fear, joy, anger, jealousy, hunger or the wish to dominate originate from the limbic system.
This is why aromas in general and essential oils in particular have the ability to influence us in a quick and strong way.
What are essential oils?
Essential oils are volatile organic compounds extracted from flowers, roots, stems, seeds, bark and resin. Essential oils should not be confused with fatty vegetable oils (olive oil, almond oil, sunflower oil, etc.) – they are not the same at all.
Every step of the production process has a significant impact on the quality of an essential oil.
The essential oil market is a rapidly growing niche associated with improper cultivation of plants, premature harvesting, negligent transport and distillation, as well as the presence of heavy metals in the formulation. Most essential oils available on the market are of synthetic origin. Such essential oils have no added therapeutic value or benefit.
Only the purest oils, which have undergone multi-stage testing in independent laboratories, have beneficial qualities, which is why I work exclusively with doTERRA essential oils.

45 natural essential oils of high therapeutic quality and bioenergetic value will be used for aroma diagnostics. You inhale the respective essential oil and blindly assess it according to the “like/dislike” principle.

For best results, please refrain from:
- heavy and spicy food
- perfumes and cosmetics with strong fragrances
- alcohol
- smoking
- nasal vasoconstrictor drops on the day of the diagnostic aroma test.
Natural essential oils do not block your sense of smell. You can test 65 essential oils during a consultation and you will be able to clearly perceive the aromas of each oil.
Essential oils have no undesirable side effects when used correctly. If you use essential oils, you should bear in mind that they are highly effective and highly concentrated biologically active substances. Even one drop has a strong effect. Make sure you only use 100% natural essential oils of therapeutic quality and follow all instructions on the label and on the manufacturer’s official website.
Special precautions should be taken for pregnant and breastfeeding women, children, people with severe illnesses, epileptics, etc.
In order to avoid any risks to your health, please consult your doctor or pharmacist before use.
Take any vegetable oil (e.g. olive oil) and wipe your eyes with it. Never try to rinse your eyes with water: this will make the situation worse, as essential oils do not dissolve in water.
