YOGA
What is Yoga?
Yoga is an ancient practice deeply rooted in Indian tradition. Translated from Sanskrit, yoga means “unity”. And that is precisely what my classes are about: returning to a state in which body, breath and consciousness are once again interconnected.
Yoga is neither gymnastics nor a form of physical performance. It is a method of self-regulation that allows you to understand how your body responds to stress, how your breath releases tension and how your mind can find peace.
I guide you individually – whether you are practicing for the first time, already have experience or wish to deepen a particular inner process.
Hatha Yoga
What is Hatha Yoga?
Hatha Yoga is a classical form of yoga that is particularly well-suited to sharpening body awareness, relieving stress and building inner stability. The word ‘Hatha’ is composed of two Sanskrit syllables: “ha”, which stands for activity, the mind and mental energy, and “tha”, which symbolises calm, prana and vital energy.
Hatha Yoga balances these two polarities and includes:
- conscious postures (asanas) that promote stability, strength and flexibility
- breathing techniques (pranayama) that regulate the nervous system and support inner peace
- precise alignment that improves your body awareness regarding posture and strain
- relaxation phases that enable recovery
Hatha Yoga is calm, clear and structured – a form of practice that not only enhances your physical flexibility but also fosters a deeper connection to your inner self.
Why
Why practice Hatha Yoga with Santrum Veritas?
Individual yoga sessions – online and in person in Vienna, Salzburg, Linz
The body speaks a clear language – often more directly than the mind. It shows where tension arises, where you need power, and where balance is required. In my yoga sessions, you learn to recognize these signals and develop a practice that supports your current state and nurtures your well-being in a sustainable and lasting way
What sets my work apart:
- mindfulness over perfection – you focus on sensation rather than external form
- individual approach – each session is tailored to your physical and mental condition
- clear guidance – you learn not only how to practice an asana, but also why it is beneficial
- spiritually grounded, yet clear and applicable to everyday life – without dogma and overload
- integration of breath, movement, and awareness – for effects that extend beyond the yoga mat
- use of essential oils to support emotional regulation and relaxation

YOGA NIDRA
What is Yoga Nidra?
Yoga Nidra – also known as “yogic sleep” – is a profound practice of conscious deep relaxation on the physical, mental, and emotional levels. Originating from the classical Satyananda tradition, Yoga Nidra has its roots in the tantric ritual Nyasa. During Yoga Nidra, you find yourself in a transitional state between wakefulness and sleep, in which:
- the inner dialogue comes to rest
- the body is able to fully release
- the nervous system regenerates
- the subconscious becomes more accessible
Yoga Nidra can help dissolve inner blockages that keep you from realising your dreams and hinder your self-realisation.
Yoga Nidra
What happens during a Yoga Nidra session?
While doing Yoga Nidra, you lie comfortably on your back in Shavasana and follow my voice inwardly.
There is no need to concentrate or control anything. You simply listen and allow yourself to be guided. With your eyes closed, you move step by step through different levels of awareness. In this process, a space emerges where you can encounter the deeper structures of your subconscious and connect with your authentic self.
Why
Why Yoga Nidra?
Yoga Nidra can effectively support you in:
- reducing physical, mental, and emotional tension
- relieving stress and promoting recovery from burnout
- improving the quality of your sleep
- easing depressive moods and emotional heaviness
- stabilizing the nervous system
- enhancing concentration, memory, and mindfulness
- fostering creativity
- developing clarity and inner alignment
Who is this for
Who is Yoga Nidra for?
Yoga Nidra is for you if you:
- want to step out of repetitive thought patterns, a fast-paced lifestyle, or feeling overwhelmed
- are seeking a deeper form of rest than ordinary sleep
- would like to find access to your inner truth, your needs and resources
- are carrying a heavy burden of responsibility, stress or emotional pressure
- want to realign inwardly (think more clearly, make decisions more easily, feel more mindfully)
Many people experience Yoga Nidra as a gateway to a depth that is rarely possible in everyday life – a space where regeneration, insight and tranquillity unfold simultaneously.
You need no prior knowledge, no particular flexibility or spiritual background – just the willingness to be fully present with yourself for a while.

NAIL BOARD STANDING
What is Nail Board Standing?
Nail Board Standing – also known as a Sadhu Board – is a powerful spiritual practice with a strongly revitalizing effect. It uniquely combines physical stimulation with deep mental transformation. There are over 70,000 nerve endings and numerous reflex points on our feet, which are connected to the body’s overall sensory and regulatory systems. Their targeted stimulation leads to:
- improved blood circulation and increased cellular vitality
- activation of the metabolism and detoxification processes
- release of deep tension throughout the body
- harmonization of the nervous system – shifting from stress toward regeneration
Nail Board Standing
What happens during a Nail Board Standing session?
The session begins with a guided mental and breath-centred preparation, allowing you to calm your mind and attune yourself to the experience ahead. Afterwards – under safe and attentive guidance – you stand on a specially designed nail board for a period of time tailored to your individual needs.
You do not need to apply any specific technique or force yourself to achieve anything. You will be directed to consciously use your breath as an anchor and to observe the sensations without resisting them. The focus lies on entering a deep state of acceptance and presence. A space emerges in which you can directly experience and transform your habitual responses to challenge – moving towards an attitude of inner steadiness and balance.
Why
Why Nail Board Standing?
Nail Board Standing can effectively support you in:
- building trust in your body and your own capabilities
- dealing constructively with fear and inner resistance
- increasing mental resilience and the ability to maintain focus
- breaking through limiting beliefs and self-imposed boundaries
- fostering deep presence and awareness in the here and now
Who is this for
Who is Nail Board Standing for?
Nail Board Standing is particularly beneficial if you:
- live under high pressure or constant performance demands in your daily life
- long for greater mindfulness and less mental chatter
- want to strengthen your ability for self-regulation
- wish to address suppressed emotions, mental blocks and inner conflicts
- want to build courage, willpower and determination
- practise meditation or yoga and are ready to go deeper
- wish to gain new perspectives on supposed “limits”
For many, nail board standing becomes a powerful ritual of self-empowerment – a profound moment in which overcoming challenges, absolute presence and newly gained confidence in your body come together.
It does not require an exceptional tolerance for pain. What matters is a genuine willingness to approach this unusual experience with curiosity and mindfulness. A stable mental and physical constitution is a prerequisite.

The perfect time to practise is up to you – depending on whether you want to recharge your batteries or wind down. Consistency is more important than the specific time of day. One simple rule applies to every session: ideally, avoid practicing right after a meal.
Although Yoga Nidra and hypnosis may appear similar from the outside, they are fundamentally different practices. Yoga Nidra guides you into a state of deep relaxation while maintaining conscious awareness and inner observation. Throughout the practice, you are repeatedly invited to remain awake, attentive, and inwardly present. In contrast, hypnosis generally works through focused suggestion and altered states of attention.
This happens to many people, and is nothing to worry about – sometimes the body simply responds to what it most urgently needs: rest.
However, Yoga Nidra reveals its deepest transformative potential when you remain in a state of conscious relaxation. With regular practice, this becomes increasingly natural and accessible.
Yoga Nidra creates a highly supportive mental condition for this. In a state of deep relaxation, your subconscious becomes particularly receptive.
This is where we work with a Sankalpa – a personal intention that you anchor during this sensitive phase. During our session, I will gladly guide you on how to formulate a clear, effective Sankalpa that truly resonates with you.
The nail board consists of a board with numerous metal nails arranged at regular intervals. Standing on a nail board is therefore an intense physical experience involving targeted pain stimuli. Under guidance, however, you will quickly learn to use your breathing to regulate your response rather than tensing up. The result is often a surprisingly deep sense of physical and mental calm.
If you have any questions, concerns or existing mental health conditions, I advise you to consult a doctor or a suitably qualified healthcare professional before taking part.

Thoughts come and go – this is a natural part of the mind’s activity. Do not try to suppress or judge them. Simply notice your thoughts, allow them to pass, and gently return to your meditation anchor – such as your breath – time and again, without putting any pressure on yourself.
With regular practice, this shift becomes increasingly effortless, and your concentration naturally deepens.
